Titanium Asset Management

Titanium is a multiproduct asset management company developed through the acquisition and integration of established companies serving both institutional and retail clients.

Titanium’s initial funding was in June 2007 through a US$120 million private placement equity offering in the U.S. and U.K. and a listing on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM). In July 2008 Titanium filed its registration statement on Form 10 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which became effective in September 2008.

Titanium’s business strategy to date has been to acquire a number of specialist asset management companies with complimentary investment strategies and manage them as parts of an integrated business, paying particular attention to extending the scale and scope of distribution. Titanium has developed a sales and marketing team to service all the acquired businesses and Titanium is also exploiting synergies in areas such as operations, finance and investment technology. Our initial focus has been on acquiring businesses in the United States but we also plan to acquire one or more businesses located elsewhere in the world.

In October 2007 Titanium acquired Wood Asset Management, Inc, based in Sarasota, Florida and Sovereign Holdings, LLC, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In March 2008 Titanium acquired National Investment Services, Inc, with offices in Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Finally, in December 2008 Titanium acquired Boyd Watterson Asset Management, LLC, based in Cleveland, Ohio.
